Founded to bridge the gap in cover between what the P&I clubs can give and what the cruise industry demands

What we do
Liability insurance for companies providing services in the maritime world, with particular emphasis on concessionaires and entertainers in the cruise industry. Anywhere in the world, any nationality.

Cover is granted in two parts
Part 1
CGL with the ability to offer an extension to include cover where indemnities are demanded by principals.
Part 2
Contingent* MEL. Specifically where a principal demands an indemnity should an assured’s employee try to bring suit against the principal. (actions over) This part (2) is dependent on the assured having a suitable personal accident policy in place.

What we don’t do
We don’t do P&I or charterers liabilities. We are not looking for assureds who are predominantly based in USA or US Dependencies or companies that employ mostly US citizens.

How the premium is calculated
Section (1)
Is usually based as a percentage of turnover or wage-roll, but can be set as a premium per person per day based on an employee census.
Section (2)
Is dependent on:
- Terms of the underlying personal accident policy
- Nationality
- Country of residence
- Sight of the employment contract
- Type of work undertaken
- Where (geographically) work is performed
- Who the principal is
- What indemnities the principal demands
